Senior AI Researcher: Must Have 15 Years of Experience in 5-Year-Old Technology

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with zero work-life balance expectations to join our Series A startup, BullshitBuster AI™. Your primary responsibility will be detecting AI-generated nonsense in AI-generated job descriptions — including, potentially, this one.

What You’ll Do

  • Train large language models to recognize when large language models are hallucinating
  • Attend daily standups where no one stands up (we use Slack)
  • Write unit tests for tests that test other tests
  • Generate quarterly OKRs explaining why last quarter’s OKRs were aspirational rather than actual
  • Maintain a proprietary “BS Score” metric that we will use in press releases without explaining the methodology

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in a field that was invented 3 years ago
  • PhD preferred (in anything — we’ll find a way to make it relevant)
  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, and any framework we haven’t heard of yet
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrated by your ability to read this job posting without flinching
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively (we’re not sure which one we want)
  • Passion for the mission (defined as working evenings without additional compensation)
